  • Creating an environment that fosters healthy lifestyle choices for employees and their families

  • Maximizing the college’s financial resources and benefits by helping employees and their families become better informed health consumers

  • Reducing the modifiable health risks of employees and their families, thus enabling them to reinvest in their futures

To achieve these goals, the college distributes a monthly employee wellness newsletter; sponsors educational programs on health related topics and healthy cooking demonstrations; offers opportunities to participate in an ongoing Weight Watchers At-Work program; encourages enrollment in the fitness classes provided by the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER), Division as well as participation in off-campus fitness activities; and provides an annual health fair with free biometric health screenings.
