As a currently enrolled LCCC ADN or LPN student or nursing program applicant you may be eligible for the new Summer Nursing Acceleration Scholarship.

This scholarship can help you complete support courses that put you in a better position when you
are ready to take nursing courses or clinicals. Check the summer schedule as new nursing and nursing support courses have recently been added.

Studies show that students who attend classes year-round are more likely to complete a degree.
   

Eligibility Requirements

This award supports Lorain County Community College/ University Partnership students who meet the following criteria: 

  • Applicant is either currently in the LPN or ADN program or the nursing program application has been accepted. 
  • Applicant is in the clinical phase of his/her coursework, taking LCCC support courses or taking pre-requisites for the University of Akron’s BSN program. 
  • Has a 2.50 GPA or better – cumulative. 
  • Is enrolled in at least two (2) credit hours during Summer semester 2014.

(Award amounts vary depending on other financial aid resources available, but will not exceed $1,000.)

Application deadline is Friday, June 6.

Performance Canceled

  
The Black River String Quartet performance for today Sunday, February 1, 2015 has been canceled.

Exterior Campus Lighting Project

Work will begin Monday morning on replacing the light fixtures on the west loop road (main road in front of the College. Workers will be installing  new fixtures from the north and south ends concurrently. The road will be partially blocked in order to do the work.
 
Please be very careful and slow down.

15 to Finish: Add a Late-Start Class Today

Take at least 15 credit hours per semester and you'll be closer to graduation and closer to your career. There’s still time to add a class to your schedule. Late-start courses begin Feb. 23 and March 23.

LCCC students now have the opportunity to participate in the MyTuition Guarantee. This new program holds tuition and fee rates for students registering in fall 2014 and spring 2015 for up to three years or until the completion of a degree, whichever comes first.
