The Financial Services Center is dedicated to assisting students in finding a way to pay for college.

Our hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM and on Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Computers are available for student use in applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and on-line entrance line counseling. Staff members are available for assistance with these on-line applications during office hours.

Grants
Grants are free dollars given to college students by the U.S. Department of Education or the State of Ohio and are awarded on the basis of financial need. LCCC participates in the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant, Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) and Ohio Instructional Grant (OIG) programs. The application used to determine student's financial need and grant eligibility is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This single application determines eligibility for all federal financial aid including the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG), Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG), Ohio Instructional Grant, Federal Work Study and the Stafford Loan Program. Therefore, all students who plan to attend LCCC and qualify for some type of financial aid should complete the FAFSA on the Web at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. FAFSA on the Web Worksheets are available in the Financial Services Center.

Please note: to be considered for the Ohio College Opportunity Grant or the Ohio Instructional Grant, FAFSA applications must be completed by October 1 of the award year.
