Construction and Renovation Tradesman Program

The Construction and Renovation Tradesman program is 7-months of earning college credits toward an Associate of Technical Studies Degree that provides hands on training in the areas of Blueprint Reading, Plumbing, OSHA, Masonry, HVAC, Finish Carpentry, Carpentry, and Wiring. The program is designed to either take individual classes or the entire program.

Applicants for the Construction and Renovation Tradesman program must:

  • Have a GED or high school diploma to enroll--submit official transcript to LCCC Records Office 
  • Complete LCCC Admission Form 
  • Recommended immunization: Tetanus

The bureau of Labor Market Information of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services reports that over the 2000-2010 period, the Cleveland-Lorain-Elyria economy is projected to create 9,180 new Construction trade positions.
