Library Services

Distance Learning Library Services are available to students taking classes at any LCCC outreach center, including the LCCC Wellington Center and for students enrolled in Internet courses.

Distance Learning Library Services are available to faculty who teach an electronic or off-campus course.

 

LCCC Library/ID Card

All LCCC students and faculty must have a current LCCC library/ID card to request library materials, access the OhioLINK Research databases and to use the computer lab at the LCCC Wellington Center.

Students can obtain their LCCC ID card by presenting a current course schedule and proof of identification when requesting your initial LCCC Library/ID card in the LCCC Wellington Center's computer lab during open computer lab hours.  Your LCCC ID card will be mailed to your residence.

You need to update your ID card every semester that you are a student at LCCC.  Please stop in the LCCC Wellington Center's computer lab during open computer lab hours, contact the LCCC Circulation Desk at (440) 366-4026 or via e-mail at circnote@lorainccc.edu.

LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
