New Learning Center for Northern Medina County
The University of Akron and Lorain County Community College have partnered to bring higher education closer to home with the new Midpoint Campus Center in Brunswick.
The center is conveniently located on Pearl Road, just south of Boston Road in the Highland Square office building. The Midpoint Campus Center will offer courses from both LCCC and the University of Akron starting in January, 2009.

Courses will be offered on-site, via the Internet and through interactive video distance learning (IVDL). Courses to be offered at the center include:
- College Composition
- Music Appreciation
- Communication
- Philosophy
- Microcomputer Applications
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Mathematics
