Support Staff Openings
Part-time Sign Language Interpreter
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Office of Disability Services and the Dean of Enrollment, Financial and Career Services, the Sign Language Interpreter is responsible for providing assistance as needed to LCCC’s deaf and hard of hearing students in classrooms, labs, general lectures, and other venues on campus where sign language interpretation may be needed. Typical functions may include but are not limited to the following; providing interpretation and translation assistance for deaf and hard of hearing students in academic classes; assist during meetings; and interpret during tutoring or school-related events.
Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree or higher in Sign Language Interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification and/or credential preferred. Experience providing interpretation services to adults in an academic setting.
Minimum Hourly Rate: $25.00

Conference and Dining Services
Food Services Assistant
The Food Services Assistant, is responsible for the implementation of food services in assigned areas throughout campus including Starbucks. Duties include setting up catering stations, operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, prepare food under direction, and additional duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
Required qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent in education and 2-3 years direct experience in food service required.
Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service principles and ability to take and follow directions are preferred.
Minimum Hourly Rate: $9.66
