The Work-Based Learning Program (WBL) provides students with the opportunity to translate classroom theories into practical applications on the job.

Work-based learning credit on a transcript tells future employers that not only did the student perform to the specifications of the employer, but that they also met LCCC's standards of performance.

The work world is in a state of almost revolutionary change. LCCC's goal is to help our students and grads become top notch job candidates who are more than up to the challenges of the digital work place.  To succeed, it helps to think of your work not as a job, but as a career - a career that you are responsible for managing.  To do this, you need to keep your skills sharp and know how to navigate in the world of business and industry. Work-based learning is an important early-career step where you can sharpen career skills and knowledge, your interpersonal skills, and professional work habits.
