April 20 Columbus St Invt'l
This day's tournament was played in very difficult conditions with a stiff wind that allowed just two golfers in the entire field of over 30 participants to break a score of 80. The LCCC Golf Team was still unable to get untracked in the adverse conditions to compete in line with the teams abilities. Mitch Clark (N Ridgeville) lead the Commodores with a score of 91.
April 13 OCCAC Southern Open Invt'l
The LCCC Commodores got their first look at the golf course they will be targeting later during the season in May for the NJCAA D-III Regional Championship, WeatherWax GC. Unfortunately, the first meeting of golfers vs golf course was won by the golf course. Only LCCC player to break 90 was Mitch Clark (N Ridgeville) with an 89. The Commodores return to WeatherWax May 12.
April 12 Cincinnati State Invt'l
The LCCC Men's Golf Team opened their Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Schedule at Brown's Run CC in Middletown, OH. Ian Sooy (Open Door) paced the Commodores with a 89.
April 7 Kent State-Tuscarawas Invt'l
Better weather over the weekend at Oak Shadows GC still didn't give the LCCC Men's Golf Team the help that was needed. Poor putting was the deciding factor in high scores by the team. Low score was posted by Ian Sooy (Open Door) with a 90. Danny Reaser (Elyria Catholic) posted a 91 and Vince Vitale (Firelands) contributed a 92.
March 31-April 1 Capital University Purple & White Inv'l (2nd Round)
The 2nd round of the tournament held at the Foxfire "Players Course" didn't help much for the LCCC Men's Golf Team. The "Player's Course" is a difficult tournament golf course with very demanding narrow fairways and difficult golf holes. Danny Reaser (Elyria Catholic) had the low score for LCCC with a 88. Vince Vitale posted a 91.
March 31-April 1 Capital University Purple & White Invt'l (1rst Round)
The LCCC Men's Golf Team opened the season at West Chester GC in frigid temps and rain. Vince Vitale (Firelands) lead the Commodores with a 91. Danny Reaser and Jacob Linden (both from Elyria Catholic) contributed with a 92 & 93 respectively.
