Associate of Applied Science in Computer Aided Machining
The
computer aided machining program prepares the student with the
knowledge, skills and hands-on experience needed to program, set-up and
operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines, specifically the
Machining and Turning Center.
Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Design
The
mechanical design program is designed to provide students with the
knowledge and cognitive skills necessary for the competent performance
as an entry-level mechanical drafter/designer or computer aided design
operator. Employment opportunities exist in a variety of manufacturing
companies such as automotive, steel, plastics and others.
Associate of Applied Science in Quality Assurance
The
quality assurance program is designed to provide students with the
knowledge and cognitive skills necessary for the competent
proficiencies as an entry-level quality technician. Employment
opportunities exist as a: quality technician or inspector, process
control specialist, reliability lab technician or analyst, quality
auditor, gauge control technician or quality assurance analyst.
