You can sign up for classes this Summer in Accounting, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Computer Information Systems, Economics, English, Geography, Health Education, History, Humanities, Math, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Physical Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish and many others that are part of the statewide transfer module.

If you are a student at another college or university and would like to take summer classes at LCCC, here's what to do:

  1. You may view the summer class schedule on the MyCampus student portal and from the "Find a Class" search box on the LCCC home page.
          
  2. Meet with your advisor, counselor or other appropriate person at your college or university to determine the proper course work at LCCC and to ensure transferability for your degree requirements.
     
  3. Obtain transient student permission from your college or university. This is a formal authorization to enroll in another college and is verification that your home school accepts successfully completed course work. This permission is usually in a standard form or letter from an advisor or counselor. However, you may use the Sample Transient Letter, if approved by your college or university.
     
  4. Complete the LCCC Application for Admission if you have never taken an LCCC credit class before.
     
  5. Indicate which courses you want to take by completing the Course Registration Form. Note: Course registrations will not be accepted prior to March 25, 2013.
     
  6. Complete the Transcript Request Form.
     
  7. Mail the completed forms to:

You do not need to include payment for tuition and fees. A bill will be mailed to you.

*Please note that the LCCC refund policy may not be the same as your home institution’s. Summer term refunds at LCCC are: 100 percent if class is canceled by the LCCC or if a schedule adjustment is initiated prior to first day of scheduled term; 80 percent if withdrawal or schedule adjustment is initiiated during first four calendar days of the scheduled term; 40 percent if withdrawal or schedule adjustment is initiated between the fifth and seventh calendar days of the scheduled term; and no refund if withdrawal or schedule adjustment is made after the seventh calendar day of the scheduled term. Refunds for courses offered differently than the traditional eight-week summer courses will be calculated proportionately to and consistent with institutional policy.
