This site has been created through a partnership known as MJET (Materials Joining Engineering & Technology) between Lorain County Community College (LCCC) and The Ohio State University (OSU). LCCC and OSU have been awarded funds from the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education (NSF-ATE) program (DUE-0302792 and DUE-0302803) to further the welding / materials joining educational opportunities provided to students at both the secondary and post-secondary levels.

This site is designed as a way of keeping the public informed of the intention of the grant, keeping interested parties up to date on what is occurring, and to serve as a method of disseminating grant work to those parties who can use the materials for their educational needs.
