The Alumni & Friends Association strives to reconnect graduates and former students with Lorain County Community College's current initiatives.  As this region diversifies and advances, the college will serve as the foundation behind this growth.  Alumni like you represent a vital sector of support during these changing times.  Your commitment to your alma mater will only strengthen the college and increase the opportunities for Lorain County residents.   

Alumni & Friends Association Eligibility
Membership is open to all college and University Partnership graduates, as well as anyone who has completed a credit or non-credit course.

MEMBER BENEFITS

After you have completed the online registration form, you must obtain your LCCC/UP Alumni & Friends ID card by visiting the Library’s Circulation Desk in the Barbara and Mike Bass Library/Community Resource Center – 2nd floor.  Bring your driver’s license or State ID with you.  The following are your benefits:

LCCC’s Bookstore  - 10% discount on apparel and logo items only.

Library Privileges Use of the magazines and periodicals in a comfortable setting; borrowing up to 10 books at one time; borrowing 5 books from Ohio Libraries through the log-in procedure in the Library; and use of the library computers;

Employment & Career Services Free workshops on job searching, career decisions, interviewing, resume writing, and much more; Transition Networking Groups; and free online job board (LCCC CareerLink) for new opportunities in the region.  Visit www.lorainccc.edu/careers for more information.

Health Physical Education & Recreation

Call HPER at 440-366-4028 for registration and details about all HPER opportunities listed below.

With a current Alumni ID card, you may:  Use the indoor track only free of cost during open recreational hours. (A health history waiver form must be completed each year)

With a current LCCC/UP Alumni ID card and at least 45 quarter hours earned or 30 semester hours earned at an LCCC campus, you may

Use the field house track free of cost during open recreational hours; use the field house facilities by enrolling in NPER 189 at a reduced cost. 

Become a fitness center member at a reduced cost by enrolling in NPER 150  

NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MAY USE THE FITNESS CENTER

If you hold an Ohio Buckeye Card, you may have access to the track only  - free of charge.

GIVE TO THE ALUMNI ENDOWMENT FUND!

As an alumnus of Lorain County Community College, you can relate to the importance of higher education and the impact LCCC can have on this community.  The future of Lorain County lies upon the talent and education of its residents - and LCCC creates the access necessary to raise these levels. 

The Alumni Endowment Fund was established with donations from alumni like you, and will provide yearly awards for scholarships, program enhancements, technology and other key institutional priorities.

Extended Hours for Spring Registration

Enrollment, Financial and Career Services is now open 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday for Spring registration.

Campus Road Construction

The west entrance to parking lot 3 south at South Loop Drive (south of the Campana Building) will be closed for repairs until mid-December. All other exits and entrances to this lot will remain open. See the LCCC campus map at www.lorainccc.edu/map.

Earn College Credit For Work and Life Experience

Attend an information session for Prior Learning Assessment and find out about the methods used to help you earn college credit for what you have learned through work and life experiences.

MyTuition Guarantee

LCCC students now have the opportunity to participate in the MyTuition Guarantee. This new program holds tuition and fee rates for students registering in fall 2014 and spring 2015 for up to three years or until the completion of a degree, whichever comes first.
