20th Annual LCCC Jack Nicklaus Scholarship Golf Benefit

The 20th annual Lorain County Community College Jack Nicklaus Scholarship Golf Benefit was held August 30th at Elyria Country Club.

The Nicklaus Scholarship Golf Benefit raises funds for LCCC and University Partnership scholarships.  More than 100 golfers participated this year.  The revenue generated from this event is applied directly to the Nicklaus Endowment Fund of the LCCC Foundation.  To date, the Nicklaus Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $420,000 to more than 700 students.  Out of the more than 100 scholarship funds housed at the LCCC Foundation, the Nicklaus Endowment fund is the largest fund – approaching $1 million, with nearly $40,000 allocated to help support student scholarships this year.
