30th Annual Holiday Choral Concert

EOC – Holiday Choral Concert

The 30th Annual LCCC Holiday Choral Concert featuring the Civic Chorale, Collegiate Choral, Renaissance Singers and the Civic Orchestra will be held at 7:30 pm, Saturday, October 6th in the Stocker Arts Center.

More than 150 performers, including LCCC students and musicians from 16 different communities will perform under the direction of Arts and Humanities Professor Nancy Davis.   The program will include six centuries of joyful holiday music including Gabrieli’s “Jubilate Deo” and “Christmas Cantata” by Daniel Pinkham.  The Renaissance Singers will appear in period costumes and perform beautiful 16th and 17th century a cappella madrigals and motets.

LCCC student Nathanial Gilkes will be the soloist on the exuberant spiritual, “Amen.”  The concert will conclude with familiar holiday carols and selections from Handel’s “Messiah,” including the ever popular “Hallelujah” Chorus.

Tickets for the concert are $7 each for the general public and $6 for LCCC students.  For more information or to order tickets, please contact the Stocker Box Office at 440-366-4040.
