The Great Lakes Innovation and Development Enterprise (Glide) is a unique public/private partnership located on the Lorain County Community College campus that can help you grow your business, whether you are at the idea or expansion stage.  Glide was developed and is supported by the Lorain County Commissioners, the Lorain County Growth Partnership and Lorain County Community College in 2001.

Glide will provide business idea assessments, technology and staffing support, access to legal counsel, access to capital, educational resources and business management mentoring. 

Glide is staffed with business development specialists.  There is no charge for the initial consultation.  We will review your situation, identify the services you need and direct you to resources that can help bring your idea to life.  Glide will provide access to every service you need from idea formulation, business structure and strategic planning.

Glide is an Edison Technology Incubator.  The only Edison Incubator on a college campus in the State.

Campus Tours

Tours for new and prospective LCCC student will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and at 4 p.m. on Thursdays through August 21. This is a great way to become familiar with campus and find classes for the upcoming semester. No registration is necessary. Simply show up at the Student Life desk on the second floor of College Center.

MyUniversity

MyTuition Guarantee

LCCC students now have the opportunity to participate in the MyTuition Guarantee. This new program holds tuition and fee rates for students registering in fall 2014 and spring 2015 for up to three years or until the completion of a degree, whichever comes first.
