Men's Basketball

Men's Basketball

Lorain County Community College is committed to providing opportunities for a full college experience for our students and athletics are, no doubt, part of that experience.  LCCC offers eight sports on campus through “Club” and “Intercollegiate” offerings.  Close to 100 student/athletes participate.

Club Sports:  Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Baseball and Women’s Basketball.

Intercollegiate:  Women’s Volleyball, Softball, Men’s Golf and Men’s Basketball.

An LCCC student must be taking at least 6 credit hours in order to be eligible to participate in a club sport or must be enrolled full-time in order to participate in an intercollegiate activity.   All athletes must abide by NJCAA rules and must meet specific grade point requirements.

The Lorain County Community College men’s basketball team participates in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference and plays a 28 game schedule.

Sports Spotlight:  In the fall of 2007, LCCC Golfer Eric Polansky (Amherst) qualified for the NJCAA National Championships and finished 8th in the country.

If you are interested in playing a sport and would like to find out more information, please visit LCCC Sports Programs.
