Lorain County Community College was privileged today to host  the Troop Deployment Ceremony of the Ohio Army National Guard 837th Combat Engineers of Lorain, Ohio.  This unit of the Ohio Army National Guard is being deployed to Afghanistan.  Several hundred family and friends along with military dignitaries and public officials attended the ceremony in LCCC’s Stocker Arts Center for the 98 soldiers who are being deployed.

LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
