LCCC's Allied Health and Nursing Division has one adult and two pediatric patient simulators. These simulators are computerized patients that allow our students to practice what they would do in a hospital on a real patient in a safe learning environment.
The educational process has been enhanced because the simulators develop scenarios that allow our students to incorporate clinical and lab skills along with theoretical content that will help prepare the student to perform in the changing healthcare environment.
