About the LCCC Foundation Innovation Fund
The Innovation Fund is designed to fill a widely recognized gap in the entrepreneurship funding continuum for new technology businesses. The Fund is regional, open to entrepreneurs across Northeast Ohio and seeks opportunities at the proof-of-concept and start-up phases of a business’ development.
The fund requires that every recipient provide an educational opportunity for students and faculty to experience entrepreneurship in action. For that reason, the LCCC Foundation, in 2006, received a landmark private letter ruling from the IRS designating contributions to the fund as tax-exempt.
