Copyright is a form of intellectual property governed by U.S. Constitutional law for original works of authorship fixed in a tangible medium of expression.  Copyright protection includes both published and unpublished works.  Copyright is an increasingly complex issue in our technologically advanced society; the following documents and resources will provide information in the decision-making process pertaining to the use and reproduction of copyrighted materials.
