Women's Link. A College Resource for Women and Men

Women's Link, located in College Center 238, is a special place on campus where women and men can obtain free, confidential help with both personal and academic concerns. It offers counseling, crisis intervention, legal services, a housing service, and short term emergency loans up to $300 for students receiving financial aid.

For someone who is thinking about attending LCCC, Women's Link provides help in getting started, whether it's understanding the enrollment process or adjusting to life as a student. Women's Link also has a vast data bank of community agencies and can link students and potential students to help for domestic violence, financial resources, childcare, employment assistance, and many other services. No matter what the concern may be, Women's Link's caring staff believes in a student's ability to grow, make positive choices, and succeed. Women's Link exists to support the students of LCCC every step of the way.

Family Planning Services of Lorain County (FPS) will be at Women's Link, in the College Center, Room 238 every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm.  Services are free, confidential and open to all.

Feel free to drop by for information on access to health care for women who don't have health insurance; a variety of health topics including annual exams, birth control options, sexually transmitted infections (including HIV), and pregnancy; and how to talk to your child or teen about puberty, sexual activity and abstinence.
