Traffic and Construction Information


Traffic Delays - Abbe Road - September 1-2, 2016

Expect delays when approaching and leaving campus.

Abbe Road - From Hilliard Rd to the North Elyria Limits - will have rolling lane closures in both the northbound and southbound traffic lanes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 1-2, 2016 while the City of Elyria performs roadway repairs.


AT Building Construction

February - December 2016

An addition to the Nord Advanced Technology building (AT) will be constructed at the west end of the CIM Lab with a connection to the Campana Building February through December, 2016.

This is a state funded project.

The impact of this project will be the loss of the parking area on the west side of the PC Campana building for the construction activities.

The lot south of the PC building will be allocated to temporary staff parking during this project.

Please accept our thanks for your patience throughout this project. This improvement will provide a significant enhancement to the AT and Campana Buildings for learning opportunities and new programs.

Please use extra caution since there will be a lot of activity in this area once work starts.

Students and staff are urged to use the west entrance to Campana for access to this area of campus since the usual walking route from the parking lot will have limited access.

Please also be careful when walking through the parking lot and crossing drives.

Parking Lot 7 Closing

Due to the current condition of parking lot 7 north, and the reduced demand for parking, parking lot 7 will be closed indefinitely effective Monday December 14, 2015.

There will be no snow removal done while this lot is closed. 

Access to the wind farm demonstration area and for maintenance personnel for the cell tower will be maintained. 

The paper recycling container will be re-located to lot 6 north for your use.
