White House Hispanic Community Action Summit

A White House Hispanic Community Action Summit will be held at the Lorain County Community College Elyria Campus:

  • Saturday, February 18
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Spitzer Conference Center

The summit will cover a wide range of topics, including jobs and the economy, education, health care, and the need to fix our nation’s broken immigration system.  The meeting will begin with a morning plenary session followed by an innovative set of open-space workgroups where participants collaboratively set the agenda and identify next steps for community action.

The summit is free and open to the public, but participants must register in advance of the event by emailing WhiteHouseforHispanicEducation@ed.gov.
