LCCC THEATRE PRESENTS “I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU”

Lorain County Community College Theatre will present “I Now Pronounce You” at 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, April 24-26 at LCCC’s Stocker Arts Center.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for LCCC students, children and seniors. Order tickets at http://www.stockerartscenter.com/ or call (440) 366-4040.

“I Now Pronounce You” is a series of one-act plays by Anton Chekhov. Each of the three plays, “The Proposal,” “The Wedding,” and “On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco” is a snapshot of one stage in the process of marriage: before, during, and after. Chekhov’s biting, yet sympathetic humor comes out full force in these one-acts, which Chekov called his “vaudevilles.”

The cast includes current LCCC students, LCCC alumni and community members.

LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
