What’s New in ECE??? 

  • LCCC has reinstated the Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education.

Why is this important?
If you are currently teaching in a center that is going through Step Up to Quality star rating system you can apply for the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship. Contact Kathy Head for more information @ 366-7167.

  • Two new certificates of completion have been approved making a total of four available. They are:

Early Childhood Education
*Administration Concentration
*Infant and Toddler (new)
*After School Care (new)

*In process of getting these certificates approved by Step Up to Quality for professional development.

Nursing Accreditation Visit

LCCC will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its Licensed Practical nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 2 p.m. on September 28, 2016 at Lorain County Community College, in HS 139.
