The Enterprise Ohio’s SkillsMAX Center offers a program which includes a combination of assessment, training and certification tools that help you match the right people to your jobs. LCCC’s SkillsMAX consultants can help you assess new job candidates, find areas for improvement with current employees and help you to redevelop your job descriptions and performance evaluations to meet your changing business requirements.
     
  • Market Research Services
    The Public Services Institute and Joint Center for Policy Research provide a link between higher education and governments, non-profit organizations, and civic leadership through education, training and expert facilitation of group and community research studies. The group offers unique insights into this region through research that addresses issues of importance in Lorain County, Northeast Ohio, and the entire state by using data and information as a part of planning, problem-solving and decision making. 
     
  • Online Job Listing Service
    This free user-friendly service provides employers with access to students, alumni and community members who are currently seeking employment opportunities.
     
  • Student Co-ops and Interns
    LCCC and LCCC University Partnership student co-ops and interns are an excellent way for you to add resources at low cost, while providing the student with critical on-the-job training. LCCC students are highly motivated, and well-prepared to deliver the support you need.

LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
