Division of Allied Health and Nursing

Faculty - Nursing

The faculty member will; teach lecture, college laboratory and clinical course sections in the Nursing Programs including evening, weekend and at outreach centers; assist with curriculum development; comply, administer and grade examination and course assignments; perform related duties such as advising students on academic curriculum; serve on faculty committees both in the Nursing Program and LCCC general committees; supervise students in clinical course sections; serve as a mentor to clinical adjunct faculty and college laboratory instructional assistants; and engage in activities which support the mission and goals of the ADN Program, Division of Allied Health and Nursing and Lorain County Community College.


Required qualifications include a Master’s of Science degree in nursing with an active license to practice in the state of Ohio or eligible, with 5 years of recent clinical experience.

Preferred qualifications include college teaching experience in nursing, computer and multimedia technology skills and distance learning experience.
