Join us at the LCCC Financial Aid Filing Fair

Help filing your FAFSA application

Free service for anyone attending any college or university

Financial aid professionals from LCCC will assist you in filing your FAFSA electronically. Representatives will be on hand to answer FAFSA and loan questions. Computers with internet access will be set up to assist you with completing the FAFSA on the Web and the student loan process.

 

BE PREPARED! Bring the Following:  

  • Completed 2014 tax forms (1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ) for student and parents. Bring estimates if unable to complete taxes. 
  • 2014 yearly totals for untaxed income such as General Assistance, SNAP, child support paid, child support received and current checking, savings and asset information. 
  • Complete as much of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) work-sheet as possible. Worksheets and FAFSAs are available from your high school guidance office or college financial aid office and will also be available at the event.
  • Your Federal PIN # (and a Federal PIN# for at least one parent if you are a dependent student). If you don’t have a Federal PIN, you can apply at www.pin.ed.gov.

LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
