Research Appointment Service

  • The Research Appointment Service will provide one-on-one consulting to anyone in need of research assistance. While the same service is provided at the Research Desk, one-on-one consultation allows for a lengthier, in-depth interaction in a private, consultative atmosphere.
  • Expect appointments to last about 30 minutes.
  • Appointments are requested in order to connect the researcher with the most appropriate librarian, based on subject expertise and unique skills.
  • Please plan accordingly as it may take a few days to schedule your appointment.

Please note: This service is intended for users affiliated with the Lorain County Community College.  Responses to other users will be limited to queries relating to resources unique to the LCCC Library.  If you are not affiliated with the LCCC Library. please consider consulting your local public library or another service like Internet Public Library, which specializes in serving the entire Internet community.
