Bookstore Purchases with Financial Aid

Check funds available on MyCampus.

You can check MyCampus to see if you are eligible to use your financial aid for Bookstore purchases. Simply log into MyCampus and click on "Student Center."

  • Students who are eligible to use their aid in the bookstore will receive a “Service Indicator on their MyCampus Student Center. The service indicator will say, “Available FA Bookstore Funds $XXX.XX
  • Students who are not eligible to use their aid in the bookstore for whatever reason will receive a “Service Indicator on their MyCampus Student Center. The service indicator will say, “Check List Issue – Books.” If you receive this message, check your "to Do List" to view any outstanding items that are holding up your financial aid.
  • Students who have exhausted all of their available funds will receive this Service Indicator: “Zero FA funds for books

By checking your service indicators, you can go directly to the Bookstore to buy your books.  There is no need to stand in the Financial Aid line other than for assistance clearing up other issues or to pay outstanding charges.

The Financial Aid department will not distribute paper book slips.


Nursing Accreditation Visit

LCCC will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its Licensed Practical nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 2 p.m. on September 28, 2016 at Lorain County Community College, in HS 139.
