About Bernadette

Licensed social worker, adjunct faculty, academic and career advisor, I transitioned to LCCC in December 2009 as part-time counselor/adjunct faculty. I enjoy helping students recognize their full potential so they may achieve their academic goals. I also teach first-year College Experience courses. In 2016, I was awarded the “Outstanding Adjunct Faculty” Award by the LCCC President. This award recognizes an adjunct faculty who has had significant positive impact on students and gone above and beyond in their role within the College. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences/Social Work from the University of Malta, Europe, and a Master of Education, Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University, Ohio.  Favorite quote: “If your actions inspire others, to dream more, learn more and become more, you are a LEADER.” – John Quincy Adams
