About Cassandra

I am a full-time academic advisor and have worked at LCCC since 2017. I have my Associate of Applied Science in Public Administration from LCCC and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Urban Studies from Cleveland State University. One of my favorite things about my job is that I get to watch students increase their education and credentials - starting with short-term certificates which build into associate degrees that prepare the student for a bachelors program through our University Partnership.  It is so exciting to get to see that educational and career progression.  I enjoy working with all students, but as a previous student parent, I can strongly relate to my students who are also mothers. Outside of advising I also teach Intro to LCCC Community class, and love helping first semester students navigate the college and its resources. My favorite quote is "Progress not perfection"
