The LCCC Health Simulation Center provides training opportunities for a variety of disciplines and education levels including college-level nursing, emergency medicine, occupational therapy and medicine. We also provide healthcare education for high school and middle school groups from surrounding communities. The center supports the education of Lorain County Community College students, but is also open to serve the healthcare population at large.
Human Patient Simulators provide lifelike features and responsive physiology. Our high-tech, realistic simulator helps learners develop critical thinking, communication and clinical skills without risk to real patients. Our Center and staff are available to provide training for healthcare professionals with the use of:
- Human Patient Simulator scenarios that can be developed to meet the specific needs of your organization.
- Task trainers for skill development.
- Standardized patients.
- Computerized simulation case studies.
