October 12, 2019 – – The Lorain County Community College Women’s Soccer team defeated Mercyhurst North East 5-0 on the road Saturday. Emma Horoschak and Mikayla Mains each scored two goals for the Commodores, while goalkeeper Emily Patterson recorded her first shutout of the season. LCCC now stands at 2-4-1 for the season. The team travels to Malone on Tuesday, October 15, then finishes up the season with three consecutive home matches on October 16, 20 and 22.
October 2, 2019 – – LCCC Men’s Soccer scored their first victory of the season as they defeated Westmoreland Community College 7-6. They are currently 1-4 on the season. The team will travel to Walsh University on Monday, October 7, 2019, to take on the Cavaliers Junior Varsity squad.
The LCCC women fell to the Walsh JV women 3-1 on Monday, September 30, 2019. The women now stand at 1-3-1 heading into a Saturday, October 5 match vs Delta Community College, currently #2 in the NJCAA DIII Women’s Soccer national rankings.
September 21, 2019 — The Lorain County Community College women’s soccer team picked up their first victory of the season on Saturday, September 21 against Jamestown Community College, winning 5-4.
Sisters Emma and Victoria Horoschak each scored two goals in the win. Mikayla mains scored the go-ahead goal with less than 10 minutes left in the contest.
LCCC now stands at 1-2-1 on the season. The Commodores will play next at Walsh University on September 30.

The Lorain County Community College Women’s Soccer team lost to Mercyhurst North East on Saturday, September 14 by a final score of 4-2. Brittney Kmitt and Victoria Horoschak each scored a goal for the Commodores. The team record now stands at 0-1-1 for the season. LCCC will travel to Lakeland Community College at 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 18.
