Cross Country Teams Compete in All-Ohio Championship Meet

September 28, 2019 – – The Lorain County Community College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams competed in the All Ohio Collegiate Cross Country Championship Meet hosted by Cedarville University on Saturday, September 29. The Commodore men finished 37th out of 38 complete teams (6 incomplete teams) while the women had four finishers on an extremely hot and humid day. The University of Dayton took the overall championship in both races.

Freshman Henry Haas (pictured; Wellington) ran a season best 30:15 over the 8K course for the men, while freshman Kelsey Gannon (Avon) led the way for the women with a time of 26:33 over the 6K course.

The Commodores have a week off then compete next at the Oberlin College Interregional Rumble on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Race time is noon.
