JESSE BARRIOS (5’11”Sophomore from Wooster (Home Schooled))
Jesse went 13 for 24 (.542 batting average, with a .586 OBP and .750 slugging percentage) with 9 runs scored, 7 RBIs, 2 doubles, 1 home run, and 4 walks in LCCC’s eight games this week against CCAC South, CCAC Boyce, and OSU Mansfield. For the season, Jesse sports a .557 batting average, ranking him third in the NJCAA. He also ranks fifth with a .627 on base percentage. Jesse is the youngest of seven kids and his mom homeschooled all of them. He started playing baseball when he was five years old and played for Smithville High School. His brother, Patrick, played for Clark Summit University. His goal is to attend a four-year school and major in sports management. Congratulations, Jesse!
