Men’s Basketball Drops Contest to DII Bryant & Stratton
January 29, 2020 – – The Lorain County Community College Men’s Basketball team squared off against a tough Bryant & Stratton College team that recently knocked off the 11th ranked team in the nation, but a couple of scoring spurts by the Bobcats propelled them on to an 84-61 win over the Commodores.
Jaylen Jenkins (Willoughby/Willoughby South) led the Commodore offense with 15 points and four assists. He also pulled in five rebounds and had two steals. Alex Wyatt (Brunswick) logged his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 boards, along with dishing out three assists and blocking two shots, while Jacob Marsh (Elyria) dropped in 14 points, had two steals and two assists.
The Commodores drop to 3-15 overall and 0-5 in the OCCAC, while the Bobcats improve to 11-6. LCCC travels to Hocking College for an OCCAC contest at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020.
