How MakerGear Got Its Start in Our Fab Lab
In the early days of 3D printing, MakerGear founder Rick Pollack bootstrapped a small business making components in his Shaker Heights garage. He said they made their machines out of laser-cut plywood, one at at time, in his garage. Then a friend introduced him to the Fab Lab at Lorain County Community College where he gained access to the latest cutting and fabricating machinery for basically no cost.
