A new associate of applied science in digital fabrication technologies degree begins this fall at Lorain County Community College.
LCCC developed the degree with recommendations from local experts during curriculum creation that is in line with the needs of the economy and market analysis, according to a press release.
Local employers and the Lorain County Manufacturer’s Association agreed there is a need to prepare students for this workforce, the release stated. The in-demand field has 8,000 jobs in Ohio related to digital fabrication technologies.
