Career Connect Pathway Sessions

Career Connect sessions are virtual meetings and group workshops where you will connect with other students with similar career goals. You will also participate in individual appointments with career development specialists to help connect you with career resources, individual coaching and local employers.  You will develop a plan for how to prioritize their career development and job search activities specific to your career pathway.

Career Development Activities 

You can use self-paced resources to learn about job search topics and pathway-specific tools through Canvas and the CareerLink system.  You also have access to resources including on-demand workshops (resume, interviewing, networking, strategy) and career resources including resume samples.

 

Coaching & Support 

Get on-going support from a Career Services team member to develop your personal career action plan including conducting an internship or job search.  Conversations and coaching are based on your individual needs. Staff can provide coaching support through email, phone, or video conference for:

  • Career decision/Career change
  • Resume and cover letters
  • Interviewing preparation and practice
  • Networking assistance (who to connect with and how)

 

Employer Connections

Career Services and its partners will connect you with employers through virtual meet-ups.  These sessions allow you to connect to individuals who can answer questions about current industry trends, job openings, job search skills, resumes and interviewing.
