A Free Networking Group for Business Professionals

 

Transitions is a free networking group in support of individuals in search of a new job or career change. Transitions provides free short seminars, networking contacts, job leads and support. Sessions are professionally led and focus on the job search process, provide the latest career development tools and resources, and help you sharpen networking skills and search strategies. The program is free of charge and is open to students, alumni and community members.

How to Prepare Yourself for Today’s Interviews: What is Behavioral Interviewing and how to prepare?
June 6 from 7-8:30 p.m.

More and more employers are choosing to conduct behavioral style interviews due to the belief that past behaviors predict future success. So, don’t let yourself get stumped next time you hear “tell me about a time when” in the interview!

This session of Transitions will provide an overview on Behavior Interviewing, tips on how to effectively respond to these type questions, and an opportunity for hands-on experience in preparing and delivering your responses to behavioral questions you may encounter in a job interview.
