March 13: Starting 2018 Off Right for Good Data
Big data can seem like a big hassle, but it doesn’t have to be. You and your agronomist can use the data that is collected by your equipment to improve yields, and to be more efficient with your time and money. Included in this program will be breakout sessions with technology experts to review monitor operation and troubleshooting for most major monitor brands.
March 20: A Common Sense Guide to Drones on the Farm
Drones, or UAVs, can be very useful tools on the farm, but what is realistic for your operation? In this program you can discuss application options for cameras and types of UAVs, the pros and cons of flight and photography services, how to interpret images, and current regulations regarding UAVs use with John Barker from OSU Extension and other experts.
March 27: Determining Your Tech ROI
The possibilities for adding advanced tech to your operation are growing every day, but how do you determine what you need, what you’ll be able to use, and what you can afford? How can you accurately determine the payback on a tech investment? Tim Norris, CEO of AgInfoTech, will discuss how you can make informed and accurate calculations of your return on investment for technology purchases.
