Are you looking for something fun to do around town? Do you love to cook, or just want to improve your skills in the kitchen? We have just what you’re looking for at our Culinary Arts Institute. Join our award-winning chefs in our sparkling new culinary facilities to learn how to create beautiful and tasty dishes, choose the right wine or bake holiday sweet treats sure to thrill and impress your friends and family. Most classes are one session and perfect for an evening or afternoon with friends.

Cooking Classes for Kids

We're offing a series of Saturday morning cooking classes for kids ages 5-10. Class topics include fudge, ice cream, cookies, smoothies, pizza and mac & cheese. Classes are $25 for each kid and parents are welcome to stay free of charge.

Cooking Classes for Teens

Aspiring young chefs from 10-16 years old will explore a variety cooking techniques and recipes in this four-part series of courses. Each weekly segment provides a unique experience that builds upon the skills learned in the previous series. Classes can be taken as a series or as individual courses.

    5:30-8:30 p.m.
    We're bringing happy hour to our kitchens as we prepare some new and traditional southwest recipes. This tasty tour includes chiles rellanos; sweet potato and enchiladas; mesquite fired steak; brisket and beer tacos; ancho pork and manchego quesadillas; and spicy queso with salted tortillas. Cash bar will be available.

  • Friday, May 17
    5:30-8:30 p.m.
    We'll go beyond the favorite traditional beef taco to with these next-level combinations in soft and crunchy wraps. Experience chorizo, sweet potato and cilantro; pulled pork, pineapple and crème fraiche; grilled chicken thigh with tomatillo salsa, queso fresco and pickled onion along with all of the fixings. Cash bar will be available.

  • Friday, May 24
    5:30-8:30 p.m.
    In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to identify the top-quality characteristics of beef, techniques for fabrication, and we will butcher beef striploins, prime ribeyes, tenderloins and flanks. After you hand-cut a selection to take home, watch as our chefs prepare another selected steak for you to enjoy for dinner - along with some favorite side dishes. Cash bar will be available.

  • Friday, June 14
    5:30-8:30 p.m.
    Small bites or “tapas” cuisine has become an all-time shareable favorite. Originally from Spain, it’s popularity has spread, giving us exciting recipes to share. Join the LCCC Chefs for an evening of tasting to include: marinated olives, ham croquettes, platas bravas, grilled octopus, deviled eggs with tuna, basque style clams, stuffed piquillo peppers and more. Cash Bar will be available.
