Job Shadowing Opportunities for Juniors/Seniors Interested in Health Careers

Important Information for Division I and Division II Athletes

During the summer, juniors and seniors should report to the LCCC bookstore to rent a LCCC locker for the upcoming fall semester. The cost to rent a locker for a semester is $5. For a convenient proximity to classes, most ECHS students request the “BU/iLoft Bridge” location.

By law, all ECHS students are required to have a LCCC/ECHS photo Identification card. In August, prior to the start of each school year, all sophomores, juniors, and seniors must present their ID to the designated staff person for verification purposes. Freshmen receive identification cards on orientation day held in August.

Busing Information

Bus information will be provided in August via the ECHS Summer Mailing and updates provided right here. We thank you for your patience.

ECHS students require a LCCC/ECHS I.D. to ride Elyria and Lorain City School buses. First Student will allow ECHS students a one (1) week grace period at the start of the school year to obtain LCCC/ECHS ID. After the grace period, students will be expected to show bus drivers their ID upon request. Without ID students could be denied bus transportation. First Student reserves the jurisdiction to disallow a student without ID to board buses.

For the safety reasons and compliance with the state of Ohio, students are to comply with the bus riders rules and regulations, and obey directions from the bus driver.

Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Please also see Busing and Transportation in the ECHS Student Handbook.
