This short-term certificate has been designed for those students who wish to be employed as an administrator of a child care center or daycare. You may earn this certificate in just one semester (if attending full time) and will gain a broad range of skills in developmental characteristics, curriculum organization, classroom programming, administration, crisis intervention, and group management.

The program meets Ohio Jobs and Family Services licensing requirements to be an administrator in an Early Childhood Center. Upon completion of this certificate, you can also apply for a certificate from the Ohio Childcare Resource and Referral Association (OCRRA). Coursework credits may also be used toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.

NOTE: For this certificate, all students must have documentation of two years teaching at the preschool level.
