Helpful MyCampus and Canvas Quick Tips
Canvas, LCCC’s online learning management system, provides web-based resources for all online, blended and web enhanced courses as well as many traditional face-to-face courses. In Canvas, students can view the course syllabus and assignments, check grades, turn in assignments and interact with the instructor and other students.

Canvas Student Orientation
All students taking online or blended courses for the first time at Lorain County Community College will need to complete the Canvas Student Orientation before accessing course(s) in Canvas.
You will not have full access to your Canvas course until:
- You complete the CSO
- The course starts
If you are using the Student Canvas App be sure to update this App every semester so that you are able to utilize the newest features

Canvas Open Lab Hours and Help Station
Computer labs across campus will be staffed with Canvas-trained lab aids and personnel to assist students with taking the online orientation, navigating and accessing Canvas, and providing general information.
A Canvas Help Station is available to students one week prior to the start of each semester and one week into the start of each semester. The Canvas Help Station is located in the front of the LCCC’s Commodore Bookstore.
