The Library is pleased to introduce Kanopy, an on-demand video streaming service available to LCCC faculty, students, and staff.  Kanopy showcases more than 30,000 of the world’s best films, including award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, and world cinema with collections from Kino Lorber, Music Box Films, Samuel Goldwyn, The Orchard, The Great Courses, PBS and thousands of independent filmmakers. Public performance rights are included and nearly all films are provided with captions and transcripts.

In this workshop you will:

  • Access and search Kanopy
  • Create a personal watchlist
  • Develop a playlist for use in classes
  • Edit video to make clips
  • Embed video, playlists or clips in Canvas
