Wind Turbine One-Year Certificate

Wind turbine power is expected to be one of the fastest-growing alternative energy sources. As it grows, the industry will need qualified people to service the technology that is involved. Building on the Wind Turbine Short-Term Certificate coursework, this one-year program encompasses a wide range of electrical, mechanical and computer skills required to compete in the emerging wind turbine Industry.

After learning a wide range of electrical, mechanical and computer skills through the required classes, you will be prepared for a range of entry-level analysis, installation and maintenance jobs. Your typical job responsibilities may include design, testing, R&D, service, maintenance and installation assignments. Of course, you may also build on this program and use the credits earned toward an Associate of Applied Energy Technology with a major in Wind Turbines.
