Building on the Short-Term Maintenance Technician Certificate program, this Associate degree program will train you to be a “systems specialist,” focusing on the engineering, programming, and integration of advanced technologies for systems integration. For example, you’ll learn to combine different automated equipment – such as robots – into coordinated systems that complete specific tasks like loading/unloading machines, sorting, inspecting, and assembling parts. An emphasis is placed on installing and operating robots and other industrial material handling and processing technologies. Graduates go on to become systems design technicians, factory sales/service representatives, applications engineers, installation supervisors, systems integrators, or production supervisors.
